The "Women's School" is a living and working community for women only and is

building, a former monastery. The work will mainly consist of painting the
common rooms and corridors.
The theme of the camp will be women and women's organisations. The women
in the school will provide these activities for the group. The camp is not
accessible to wheelchairs and children.
NL-VIA 007 ITEC, THE HAGUE
Some time in April * about 10 volunteers
The ITEC (International Training Equipment Conference and Exhibition) is
an arms simulation fair where representatives from arms industry from all
over the world will come together. Very creepy indeed. VIA wants to organize
a parallel alternative conference where NGOs, peace organizations and other
groups will give a different view on arms trade. Also there will be one day
of demonstration to raise public consciousness about ITEC and arms-trade.
The workcamp will help organizing the alternative conference and the action.
We need motivated volunteers who can also bring some information about arms
trade in their own country. Knowledge of English and an umbrella are really
necessary. Camp not accessible for wheelchairs but children are very welcome.
Maybe we sleep in tents. We will know the exact dates of the camp soon.
